Key Responsibilities
As a member of the SigCom research group, you will focus on wireless/satellite communications and networking. You will leverage expertise on advanced technologies including semantic/task-oriented data processing, signal processing, network resource management to improve the performance of future wireless communication systems.
Key responsibilities include developing software for orchestrating QKD networks, implementing software frameworks based on SDN to enable the quantum internet, designing quantum network architectures, and building orchestration software to integrate classical and quantum networks. English is the primary working language of this international laboratory.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Quantum Technologies, with a focus on software-defined networks and advanced software engineering
* Strong expertise in software-defined networking (SDN), orchestration, and network function virtualization (NFV)
* Proven software engineering and coding skills
