You will contribute to solving complex combination problems, integrating reinforcement learning into logistics, and shaping the future of automation. Responsibilities Transform global logistics: Be a part of Swisslog's innovation. Architect of robotic Arcade Game solutions. Develop key algorithms that orchestrate the flagship solution using AI, reinforcement learning, and optimization. Challenge the team with your expertise and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Take data-driven, robot-based products to the next level using reinforcement learning and combinatorial optimization. Be immersed in current customer projects, gaining field experience and driving them to successful completion. Revolutionize key elements of the system using AI, CUDA-based acceleration, and deep learning. Act as a product owner, shaping the roadmap and ensuring alignment with customer needs and technical feasibility. Your opinion counts — collaborate with Sales and Product Management to analyze and develop our product based on customer requirements. Validate progress in virtual simulation and demonstrate innovations at test facilities and customer sites. Application Requirements Over 5 years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in AI, reinforcement learning, and optimization. Proven experience in solving complex combination problems and applying reinforcement learning in real-world scenarios. Strong coding skills in Python, CUDA, and/or C++. Deep understanding of intralogistics and its challenges. Experience in automotive or route planning is a strong plus. Hands-on experience with 3D bin packing and mixed-case palletizing is ideal. Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently while inspiring your team. Fluency in German and English for seamless communication across teams.
