For a renowned, collectively bargained logistics and port company in central Hamburg, we are looking for an experienced SAP Inhouse Consultant PM/EAM (m/f/d) .
The company has been using SAP PM for over 20 years for the complex maintenance of its terminals, facilities, and properties. Since last year, the system has been migrated to S/4HANA and is now being further developed to better reflect SAP standards. If you possess in-depth process understanding, are capable of independently customizing the system, and enjoy direct contact with business units, this is the ideal in-house position for you.

1. Attractive and secure salary: Transparent, collectively agreed remuneration (approx. €80,000 – €87,000 for a 37-hour week). A correspondingly higher salary is possible for a 40-hour week.

Your tasks
Here you will take on responsibility:
5. Support and Customizing: You are responsible for classic customizing in SAP PM/EAM and implement adjustments independently.
6. Process consulting: They analyze and optimize maintenance processes (from port operations to property management), especially in the area of regular maintenance plans.
7. User support and rollout: You are the competent contact person for the specialist departments. The system is currently growing from 100 to approximately 400 users, some of whom are working with mobile devices (iOS/iPads).
8. Active communication: They act as a communicative bridge between IT and maintenance operations, continuously clarifying technical requirements.
9. Further development: They support the continuous system development and the strong exchange with SAP to keep the landscape close to the standard.
Your profile
You absolutely must bring these things (must-haves)
10. Practical experience: At least 3 years of verifiable professional experience as an SAP PM/EAM Consultant.
11. Hands-on mentality: They are able to familiarize themselves with existing systems without a long training period and become productive independently right away.
12. Process know-how: Deep understanding of maintenance processes and routine handling of maintenance plans.
13. Strong communication skills: You have an open manner and can moderate questions from the specialist areas confidently and in a solution-oriented manner.
14. Language skills: Very good to fluent German skills (C1/C2) in spoken and written form are mandatory for internal communication.
15. Loyalty to location: Residence in the greater Hamburg area or willingness to relocate in order to reliably meet the on-site attendance requirement (3 days/week).
That's a plus (nice-to-haves)
16. Practical experience in the new system world of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori .
17. Basic understanding of ABAP programming (debugging skills are perfectly sufficient).
18. Experience with interfaces to adjacent IT systems or knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g. SAP MM).
