Role: Growth Manager Germany Key Responsibilities Growth strategy & acquisition (Germany) Own customer acquisition and growth for Germany, with a strong focus on affiliate/broker marketing in FinTech (partner sourcing, onboarding, steering, optimization). Own the channel mix and acquisition budget (planning, forecasting, control) across affiliates/brokers, SEM, SEO, social, display/VOD, etc. Set growth targets and manage performance against key KPIs (CAC, CVR, approval rate, activation rate, churn/retention), taking proactive measures to meet targets. Onboarding funnel ownership & operational excellence (end-to-end) Own the end-to-end onboarding funnel performance, from first click to fully onboarded/active customer (incl. KYC/identity, application, decisioning, signing, card issuance/activation, first transaction). Act as the day-to-day bridge between Growth and IT/Product : translate funnel problems into clear requirements and monitor post-release impact. Build and maintain funnel monitoring : dashboards, alerts, and regular root-cause analysis of conversion losses. Drive continuous improvements via structured experimentation (A/B tests), UX changes, and process fixes—ensuring learnings are documented and scaled. Payments & credit product know-how (hands-on) Bring practical knowledge of payments processes (e.g., direct debit/SEPA, card payments, transaction lifecycle, chargebacks/disputes basics, failed payments) to identify friction and improve customer success. Ensure compliant and clear presentation of product terms (fees, repayment, credit limits, eligibility criteria) throughout funnel and communications. Cross-functional delivery & stakeholder management Collaborate with Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Customer Service and IT to drive improvements and new market opportunities. Participate actively in agile routines (daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and own growth-related deliverables through to release. Partnerships & local market relevance Identify, evaluate, and cultivate key partnerships (affiliates, brokers, strategic partners) to drive profitable growth. Monitor partner quality/performance (conversion, approval quality, fraud indicators where relevant) and optimize collaboration. Infuse local market insights into marketing and product initiatives to ensure relevance in Germany. Expected Skills and Experience Native-level German or C2-level German and strong English (written and spoken). 4 years in growth/commercial marketing in FinTech/banking/payments, ideally with strong affiliate/broker experience. Comprehensive understanding of German market dynamics and regulatory requirements for banking and digital financial products. Solid understanding of credit card and/or lending processes, and ability to work with risk/legal constraints. Practical exposure to payments/direct debit (SEPA) or broader payments operations; able to spot and solve payment-related funnel friction. High ownership mindset; proactive in identifying issues, escalating when needed, and driving resolution. Strong analytical skills (funnel analysis, cohorting, ROMI/CAC); confident working with dashboards and tracking. Strong stakeholder management with IT/Product; structured, execution-focused problem solver. Experience working in agile setups with ticketing and release cycles; ability to write clear requirements and validate outcomes.
