We are delighted to be working with one our long-term clients. They are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Developing IT solutions that support services and products
* Building and deploying scalable systems and applications
* Promoting collaboration, leading on design sessions, pair programming and backlog grooming
* Working with an international team including offshore developers
* Analysing business requirements working with internal teams to design documentation
* Leading maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications
* Providing support in all phases of SDLC
* Troubleshooting issues in a timely manner
* Mentoring junior members of the team
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in a similar role
* Experience building Java applications
* Experience working with AWS Services (S3,EC2,Lambda,RDS)
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Experience working with RESTful services
* Ability to communicate technical concepts across various teams
* Ability to meet tight deadlines
* Ability to understand user requests
