A leading global technology infrastructure provider is seeking a Facility Engineer to support its mission-critical data centre operations. This is a hands-on, site-based role for someone who thrives in a high-responsibility environment where uptime, speed of response, and precision matter.
This role requires 24/7 availability on a rotational basis and a deep understanding of data centre facilities, including electrical systems, HVAC, and low-voltage infrastructure. You'll be the first line of response for incidents, perform routine inspections, and ensure infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 on-site support as per incident management protocols; respond quickly to emergencies and after-hours incidents.
Maintain 100% accurate and up-to-date infrastructure documentation and system monitoring alerts.
Conduct regular inspections of data centre facilities in line with customer standards (status checks, repair MOPs, etc.).
Operate in line with Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) and report incidents promptly and clearly.
Diagnose and resolve faults across electrical, HVAC, and low-voltage systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
Lead self-owned change procedures (MOPs), ensuring operational safety and service continuity.
Support infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, safety audits, and availability tracking.
Perform duties as outlined in the clients service contract and outsourcing documentation.
What Youll Bring
~ Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or related technical disciplines
~1+ year of hands-on experience in data centre or infrastructure operations
~ Basic understanding of IDC facility systems and operational processes
~ Strong incident response capabilities and troubleshooting mindset
~ Excellent documentation and change management skills
~ Collaborative and professional communication style, with cross-cultural awareness
~ Comfortable working across multilingual teams (English + local language or Chinese preferred)
