Job Description
Join our team as a Game Security Engineer (QA), where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, stability, and effectiveness of our game security and anti-cheat solutions. You will work closely with an agile team of software developers and security engineers, contributing to robust QA processes that protect our games and players.
In this role, you will focus on test automation, attack simulation, and CI/CD-driven quality assurance for game security systems, helping us detect issues early and continuously improve our defenses. Design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions for game security space
What you will do:
1. Design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions for the game security domain
2. Actively reproduce and test real-world attacks on games
3. Reproduce and validate known attack scenarios to ensure reliable detection and prevention
4. Analyse and investigate malicious software, cheats, and abnormal game behaviour
5. Maintain, monitor, and improve a complex CI/CD and testing infrastructure
6. Plan, execute, and continuously improve pre-release security testing processes
7. Collaborate closely with Game Security Engineers, Developers, and build teams to ensure early detection of defects
8. Contribute to test strategies, tooling, and documentation to continuously raise security and quality standards
Qualifications
What you bring:
9. 3+ years of experience in software development, QA engineering, or test automation
10. Hands-on experience testing or analyzing malicious software, i.e.:Configuring and operating secure test sandboxesOperating specialized software for observing, dumping, and analyzing payloads
11. Experience with security-focused testing scenarios (e.g. cheat injection, behavioral analysis, adversarial test cases)
12. Strong proficiency in Python; working knowledge of C++
13. Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
14. Analytical mindset with strong debugging and problem-solving skills
15. Strong interest in game security, reverse engineering, and adversarial thinking
