What you’ll do
1. Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the commercial and customer experience strategy, as well as the overall company strategy for the tour operator business
2. Market & Competitive Analysis: Collect and analyze market trends, competitor positioning and commercial performance
3. Business Development: Evaluate new strategic growth opportunities, and identify new markets and business segments within the travel and tourism industry
4. Stakeholder Management: Build collaborative relationships across teams, maintain alignment with corporate strategy and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
5. Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and monitor the performance of strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis and regular reporting
6. Company Steering: Link strategic long-term goals with annual & quarterly targets processes and facilitate an effective and transparent target steering process across the organization
7. Executive Support: Assist the executive management team in decision-making, strategic prioritization and execution of key initiatives
What you’ll need
8. Bachelor's/master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, or a related field
9. 5+ years experience in strategy development, business development, or management consulting within tourism
10. Solid knowledge of strategic planning frameworks and company steering methodologies
