This position involves developing new concepts for RF signal acquisition on small satellites, integrating payloads into available satellite platforms, and defining standards and interfaces.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and implement efficient signal processing techniques for small satellite applications.
* Collaborate with the team to design and integrate payload systems, focusing on electronic and software integration.
* Analyze and define standards, interfaces, and protocols for communication systems.
* Conduct research studies on space-based payloads and networked space systems.
Requirements
* Masters degree in engineering or relevant field; PhD desirable.
* Proficiency in communication systems, including RF signal sources, antennas, and software-defined radios.
* Experience with system programming languages and software development for satellite subsystems.
* Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of national, European, and international research activities on telecommunications systems.
