C++ Simulation Engineer - Avionic / Defence (m/f/d)
As a C++ Simulation Engineer in the Avionic/Defence domain, you develop simulation modules for aircraft, avionics and mission systems, validate system behaviour against real‑world data and integrate simulation components into engineering, test and training environments. Aufgaben
* Design, develop and maintain simulation software using modern C++
* Implement simulation modules representing avionics, mission and aircraft systems
* Model operational scenarios, system interactions and failure modes
* Validate simulation models using real‑world data and performance parameters
* Integrate simulations into development, test and training environments (e.g. engineering simulators, rigs, full‑flight simulators)
* Contribute to architecture discussions and interface definitions
* Support system and helicopter/aircraft testing through simulation activities
* Collaborate closely with systems engineers, domain experts and software developers
* Improve and maintain simulation frameworks with a focus on scalability and robustness
* Produce technical documentation and simulation evidence
* Support technical decision‑making and continuous improvement initiatives
Anforderungen
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
* Strong experience in simulation software development
* Proficiency in C++ for simulation and high‑performance computing
* Solid understanding of system behaviour, modelling and validation
* Experience working with complex aerospace or defence‑related systems
* Structured, analytical and solution‑oriented working style
* Very good English skills; German is an advantage
