Job Description
We are seeking an experienced systems engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-availability AWS services.
This role involves working closely with global teams, influencing the evolution of AWS services and technology, and ensuring improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of our software systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation and operations, and be able to lead the creation, revision, and/or improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs) and drive operational best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
* Experience scripting processes in a language such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
* Solid understanding of Linux and networking, and ability to troubleshoot and anticipate problems that affect the performance, reliability, or availability of software systems.
