What you can expect
As a Senior UI Designer, you are responsible for the visual design and continuous evolution of our digital products (portal, app, website, webshop). You significantly shape the look & feel of our user interfaces and ensure a consistent, high‑quality UI experience across all platforms.
Your responsibilities include:
1. You take responsibility for the visual design and optimization of digital products throughout the entire product lifecycle.
2. You develop, maintain and expand a consistent design language based on the style guide or design system – from concept to implementation.
3. You further develop and maintain the company-wide design system and ensure clear, accessible documentation.
4. You conceptualize and design microinteractions and define as well as document consistent interaction logics within the design system.
5. You closely align UI concepts and test versions with UX designers, product teams and engineering.
6. You create prototypes for usability tests and iterate your designs based on user feedback.
7. You ensure responsive, pixel‑perfect implementation across different devices and hand over designs with clear, structured specifications to engineering.
8. You conduct UI quality checks in accordance with the design system and defined standards.
9. You ensure accessibility, consistency and adherence to UI best practices.
10. You take responsibility for coordination and alignment within the interdisciplinary development team.
11. You support and mentor junior UI designers and actively share your knowledge and best practices.
