Seeking a seasoned HR professional to spearhead HR initiatives and collaborate with business stakeholders to execute strategic plans.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to lead the full range of HR activities, working closely with the business to drive HR and business strategies forward. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting into the Lead HR Business Partner in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* HR Leadership:
o Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring effective workforce planning and performance management.
o Support organizational design and structure to enable talent optimization and drive business success.
* Performance Management:
o Enhance productivity by driving ongoing performance discussions, coaching, and implementing disciplinary actions or terminations when necessary.
o Facilitate the establishment of clear performance objectives and oversee their timely evaluation.
* Organizational Development & Change Management:
o Identify and address structural barriers to achieving strategic initiatives.
o Revise organizational designs and resource allocation to support business goals effectively.
o Help create a change-ready culture and use data to predict and plan.
* Talent Development:
o Identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans to ensure succession planning and readiness for critical roles.
o Drive employee engagement by fostering a culture of feedback, recognition, and continuous improvement.
* Employee Relations:
o Promote a positive employee relations environment by addressing concerns proactively and maintaining open communication.
o Enhance retention strategies by cultivating an engaging workplace culture.
* Talent Acquisition:
o Collaborate with the recruitment team to attract and hire top talent that aligns with our values and objectives.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 7+ years of relevant experience and proven success in a similar role, preferably supporting engineering organizations at European level with a focus on Germany and Eastern Europe.
* Expert knowledge and experience in general employment law, company HR policies, and processes.
* Experience in managing complex employee relations cases.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills, especially in sensitive and conflict situations.
* Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
* Fluency in English and German.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data analytics.
* Bachelor's degree in a HR-related field required, Master's degree is a strong advantage.
