Senior Global Tax Manager Location: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site) Salary: €135,000 About the Role As Senior Global Tax Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the Group’s international tax strategy. Working closely with the Group Head of Tax and a global team, you will provide expert guidance on direct tax issues, M&A transactions, and complex cross-border matters. Key Responsibilities Support the Group Head of Tax on all direct tax matters, with a strong focus on international taxation Drive the optimization and implementation of the Group’s tax strategy in close collaboration with global finance and business teams. Act as a trusted business partner for global functions and subsidiaries on tax-related issues. Lead and contribute to tax projects, including the implementation of new business models, tax restructurings, and market entries. Ensure tax compliance and enhance the Tax Compliance Management System, including related policies, guidelines, and internal controls. Serve as the interface with external tax advisors worldwide, ensuring consistency and quality in global tax reporting and advisory. Oversee and contribute to the preparation of tax returns, in coordination with internal teams and external advisors. Support tax audits in Germany and internationally, including the negotiation and conclusion of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs). Profile Proven experience in international tax, ideally within a multinational or Big Four environment. Strong knowledge of direct taxation, tax structures, and global compliance frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinker with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach. Fluent in English; German or other European languages are an advantage.
