You will lead the Civil Construction (CC) function across global energy infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality and cost-conscious execution of construction, installation, and commissioning activities. Your day involves strategic leadership, operational oversight, and driving excellence in compliance, safety, and performance.How You’ll Make an Impact
7. Define and implement the Civil Construction strategy aligned with Siemens Energy’s project execution framework and applicable standards
8. Establish, maintain and foster standardized processes for civil site execution, including but not limited to planning, mobilization and demobilization
9. Drive innovation in civil site management practices and digitalization initiatives. Foster lessons learnt and good practice sharing
10. Drive change and be part of the Siemens Energy transformation
11. Oversee the civil construction scope across all project phases and ensure robust bid strategies
12. Develop and enforce global standards for civil works for energy infrastructure works such as HVDC and FACTS
13. Develop, foster and monitor global performance metrics for safety, cost, schedule, and quality for the assigned responsibilities
14. Act as the interface between Siemens Energy and stakeholders for all Civil Construction matters
15. Represent Civil Construction in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions and promote cross functional exchanges
16. Ensure transparent communication of risks, opportunities, and lessons learned across projects and through all stages of the project
17. Enforce Siemens Energy’s Zero Harm philosophy and EHS regulations on all sites
18. Ensure contractual compliance and alignment with global standards for HVDC and other energy infrastructure projects
19. Drive recruitment, onboarding, training and development of Civil Site personnel
20. Empower teams through training and mentoring, fostering a culture of safety, ownership and continuous improvement
21. Ensure transparent communication throughout the project, on project status, risks, opportunities and other project impacts
What You Bring
22. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; advanced certifications preferred
23. Proven track record in people management, building high performing teams and driving change supported by strong networking ability, communication and strong stakeholder management skills
24. Long term experience in site and project management for large-scale EPC projects in energy or industrial sectors
25. Eager and curious to learn and actively seek feedback impulses from inside and outside the organization
26. Ability to live and foster team cultures
27. Deep understanding of project execution with site focus including contract, risk mitigation, and cost control
28. Experience w/ working across various functions within a multi-national corporation
29. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
30. Willingness to travel internationally
