Job Description:
Airswift is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Project Planner for an exciting construction project in Northern Germany. This site-based position offers an immediate start, with the role running on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidate will work Monday to Saturday, 8 hours per day, ensuring the project runs smoothly within the defined schedules and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and guide sub-contractor planning requirements.
* Maintain and update the master control schedule, including weekly reporting and forecasting using Primavera P6.
* Provide detailed input to align construction and commissioning schedules.
* Assist in the development of execution planning and contracting strategies.
* Collaborate with site management to prepare documents for installation sequencing, schedule timings, and resource requirements.
* Work closely with engineers and construction management to maximize construction knowledge in all aspects of the project.
* Ensure project requirements are met by utilizing a constructability checklist and integrating key data from subcontractors' planning systems.
* Coordinate with the Warehouse/Materials Control Manager to match shipping/delivery forecasts with required project dates.
* Assist in setting realistic milestones for subcontractors and supporting system turnovers.
* Foster good working relationships within the project controls teams and other departments, as well as customer representatives.
* Maintain transparent communication with the customer planner on all matters.
Key Requirements:
* At least 15 years of experience in a construction/site-based EPCC planning role.
* Minimum 15 years of experience with Primavera P6.
* Strong communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal).
* Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
* Experience with construction plans, specifications, tracking changes, and creating project documentation.
* Ability to track schedule variances and provide effective solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractor plans simultaneously.
* Solid understanding of commissioning processes and procedures.
* Commitment to safety, environmental standards, quality, and ethics.
Working Hours & Legal Information:
The position adheres to German working regulations, including a maximum of 8 hours per day and a 48-hour workweek spread across six days. A minimum of 11 hours of continuous rest between workdays is required.
