Trading Operations – New York
Your role in the team:
BCM is currently looking to expand its Trading Operations team. This is a highly visible role, interacting daily with the Trade desk, Sales, Investment Banking, and Technology teams. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: trade bookings, allocation matching, commission capture, and all aspects of middle/back office components. In this role, you will serve as primary contact for our clearing firm and be the point person for all ad-hoc trade reporting requests.
What will you do?:
• Onboarding and set-up of all new institutional clients
• Monitoring of trade settlement and position management
• Trade entry and allocation
• Consistent maintaining of trade blotter
• Prompt correspondence with institutional clients to help quickly and effectively resolve any operational issues
• Improvement and streamlining of any and all operational processes
• Commission management
Who are we looking for?:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required
• First years’ experience in Trading Operations within a broker-dealer required
• Willingness to obtain requisite licensing qualifications, if not already obtained (e.g. Series 7, 57, 63 or CFA)
• Good knowledge of pan-European equities: in particular market structure, equity trading lifecycle, regulatory environment, legal and compliance requirements for equity execution (expertise in US market is highly welcome)
• Advanced IT skills, including all standard Office applications and Bloomberg
• Strong communication skills, ability to foster relationships and to cooperate effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and to respond effectively to a demanding client base while consistently meeting deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as high attention to detail

Salary will vary based on role, education, level of experience, and expertise ranging between (i.e $120,000 to $140,000) dollars as a base salary with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus plus comprehensive benefits package.
