The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization. About the Job: As a Field Quality Engineer (FQE), you will own and manage the customer product return process for quality and reliability issues for the EMEIA region. While advocating for TIs product quality, FQEs are the primary interface to customers and interact with TI product lines, manufacturing sites and central quality organizations on a daily base. You will be part of a very diverse and experienced team of Field Quality and Field Quality Application Engineers. Main Responsibilities: Manage the customer product return process for quality and reliability issues. Review and drive customer returns to resolution. Own every step of the 8D process. Drive product quality improvements through learning from customer issues in close cooperation with Business Units and manufacturing sites Perform bench verification measurements on customer returned TI products Understand and clarify device quality issues in customer’s applications. Manage automotive, industrial and consumer quality performance expectations. Conduct data analysis to early identify potential systemic issue Support the improvement of automated reporting tools for cross-functional communication Prioritize and communicate TI Values & Culture and reflect them in front of customers Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Master degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, products and failure analysis High sense of ownership, proactiveness and problem-solving attitude Experience with electrical failure verification through bench testing and/or application board level testing Excellent communication and customer interaction skills Project management skills – able to balance priorities efficiently Strong analytical mindset (data analysis) Structured and independent work style and comfortable of making decisions Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, C++ or similar - as a plus Fluent in English Our offer for you: Benefit from a competitive salary, yearly profit sharing (dependent on company success), flexible working hours, an unlimited contract from the beginning and many additional benefits Join an international work environment where your ideas count and where you can thrive in a diverse culture Explore a world of opportunities for your personal and professional development
