Your tasks
9. You are responsible for the installation of Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2019 / 22, VMware ESXI, Dell WyseOS (ThinLinux or Windows 10 IOT) for thin clients)
10. In addition, you will supervise the installation of virtualization solutions based on VMware (vSphere 7 - 8, VxRail, vSAN, vCenter, Cluster, HA, vSAN Cluster) and the installation of virtualization solutions based on Hyper-V
11. You are responsible for the installation of network components in server racks (mechanical installation of servers/switches, cabling of internal patch cables, external installation cables, power supply; recording changes to server racks in corresponding documentation and planning via Redmarks)
12. You supervise the configuration of network components, routers, firewalls (VLAN, stacking, SNMP, hardening, security, trunking, access lists, etc.)
13. You create project-specific documentation (network diagrams, cabinet plans, test protocols, manuals/data sheets)
14. You are responsible for the administration of Active Directory (DNS, GPO, domain (users, groups, access rights), RADIUS, certificates)
15. You carry out software installations and configurations according to instructions (WSUS, Trend Micro, Antivirus, Siemens Software, LogInventory, PRTG Network Monitor)
Your profile
16. You have successfully completed training in the IT environment, e.g. IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration or a comparable qualification and have initial professional experience
17. You have experience in general network configuration & network design
18. You have solid knowledge of firewall and router configuration (preferably Cisco, Checkpoint) and several years of experience with virtualization, preferably VM-Ware
19. You are business fluent in written and spoken German and English
