AUFGABENGEBIET:
* Full responsibility for all Financial Accounting Operations & Closing Processes
* Preparation, review and coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP
* Functional oversight and quality management of the external accounting provider
* Ensuring accurate processing of provisions, accruals, intercompany activities and general ledger postings
* Review and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reports
* Close cooperation with Controlling, Tax, Treasury and local business partners
* Main point of contact for internal and external audits (SOX, Internal Audit, External Audit)
* Ongoing enhancement of accounting processes, internal controls and system interfaces
ANFORDERUNGSPROFIL:
o Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or comparable field
o Several years of experience in financial accounting and closing activities within an international company
o Strong knowledge of accounting principles and closing cycles
o Experience working with external accounting or shared service providers
o Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with stakeholders
o Fluent English; German is a plus
