Account Development Executive – Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen

As an Account Development Executive, you’ll drive revenue growth across your region by acquiring new agents and boosting performance at existing locations. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from identifying prospects and negotiating terms to closing deals and ensuring successful onboarding and ramp-up.

You’ll also play a critical role in agent development and performance, ensuring compliance and long-term success across your territory.

Role Responsibilities

The Account Development Executive will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets across the assigned territory through new agent acquisition and increasing same-store sales.

1. Manage the end-to-end sales process for Independent agents, including presenting the full product portfolio where relevant.
2. Prospect, negotiate, and sign contracts with new agents.
3. Collect required documentation and submit complete onboarding packages.
4. Drive the activation process and provide training to new locations.
5. Focus on ramp-up of new locations to ensure they reach full revenue potential.
6. Maintain and grow relationships with existing agents to drive same-store sales.
7. Conduct regular visits to high-performing locations and proactively address issues within the network.
8. Be accountable for meeting productivity targets and overall revenue performance across all locations in the territory.
9. Oversee the full agent lifecycle for all Independent agents in the region.

Role Requirements

10. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus at least 5 years of experience.
11. Previous experience in customer-facing sales or service roles, particularly within consumer products or financial services, is preferred.
12. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and listening skills.
13. Proven ability to gain the trust and confidence of clients.
14. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
15. Willingness to travel up to 70% within the region; valid driving license required.
16. Fluency in both English and German; additional languages are a plus.
17. Familiarity with or interest in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, or surrounding regions is advantageous.
