In this role you will help companies convert financial challenges into sustainable growth opportunities by providing rigorous, data‑driven financial modelling and advisory services. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that advises senior stakeholders and echos a balanced, objective perspective to protect the interests of management, shareholders, lenders and other stakeholders. What You Will Do As a Senior Consultant or Associate you will Shape the problems we tackle and develop cases that highlight our clients’ capital structure and valuation priorities. Build, refine and test driver‑based financial models, scenario plans and sensitivity analyses that support recommendations. Communicate insights to clients and internal stakeholders, influencing decision‑makers and driving action. Manage small project teams, coordinate work with teammates and ensure deliverables meet quality and deadline expectations. What You Will Bring 2‑5 years of relevant experience in financial modelling and valuation, preferably with a top‑tier strategy consulting firm or a comparable organization. Hands‑on experience analysing financial performance and liquidity of businesses, and setting up models for projections or simulations. Proficiency in driver‑based financial models, scenario planning, cash forecasting and sensitivity analysis. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial modelling software (e.g., Power BI, Anaplan, LucaNet). Understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis (HGB, IFRS). An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic programme. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings. Fluent in German and English. Willingness to travel. Initiative, curiosity and a drive to enhance personal skill sets. Analytical acumen to uncover key issues in large data sets.
