To successfully implement this transformation process, several strategic and operational steps are necessary :
Key tasks :
Introduction of New Service Areas :
* Developing the department into a general contractor for roof renovation and repairs of commercial and industrial flat roofs, in collaboration with the technical management team.
* Integrating existing photovoltaic services with the new roofing activities to offer customers complete roofing solutions
Focus on Building Sales and Cost Calculation Unit :
* Adjusting marketing and sales strategies to reach new target groups
* Identifying growth opportunities and areas for optimization
* Building new supplier relationships for roofing materials such as waterproofing membranes, insulation materials, and subcontractor services
* Reviewing and negotiating contracts with customers and partners
* Creating reports and presentations for management
Technical and Personnel Development in Collaboration with the Technical Manager :
* Hiring experienced roofers or partnering with existing roofing businesses in the initial phase, as well as training the current team to increase capabilities
* Acquiring relevant certifications and qualifications for roofing work
Adjustment of Business Structure and Processes :
* Expanding the business model, including new offers and pricing calculations
* Optimizing internal workflows to ensure efficient handling of combined roofing and PV projects
Your Qualifications
* Ideally hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a completed business administration degree
* Experience in sales and acquisition of roofing projects, as well as cost calculation and preparing offers
* A broad network in the construction industry with access to potential roofing projects
* Several years of experience, especially in project phases 5-8
* Experience with the scope of work of a general contractor
* Leadership qualities, ability to work independently and responsibly, high commitment, and excellent communication skills
* Fluent in German and good knowledge of English
* Proficient in MS Office programs
