Overview
Were looking for a skilled and reliable Mobile Test Engineer to join our iOS and tvOS QA team during a team members maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings strong communication skills to match a high-performing mature development team. Youll support manual testing regression cycles and crowd testing efforts that contribute directly to the stability and quality of our online video platform.
In this position you work within our hybrid model Highly Remote. Find out more about this model contractually agreed place of work will be Unterfhring near Munich or Berlin. Possible travel costs to the place of work will not be reimbursed.
This position is limited to 12 months due to a parental leave replacement.
What you can expect in this role
* You support our experienced iOS and tvOS team by designing and executing manual tests across multiple devices and platforms
* You contribute actively to agile ceremonies bringing quality-focused insights early in the development process
* Also you plan and run regression tests keeping test documentation up-to-date and relevant
* You manage and evaluate crowd testing sessions distill feedback and share actionable insights with the team
* Besides that you collaborate closely with developers QA engineers and product owners to clarify requirements and align on quality goals
* You champion a quality-first mindset helping to ensure feature readiness before release and identifying risks before they impact users
Your essential experience and education
* You have solid hands-on experience in manual testing on iOS (tvOS experience is a plus)
* Therefore you bring a deep understanding of QA roles in agile teams and comfort navigating mature team dynamics
* You have experience in coordinating and evaluating crowd testing campaigns
* You are familiar with regression testing best practices and test management tools
* You have excellent communication skills and the ability to align with a high-functioning remote-first team
* You have a proactive detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on delivering high-quality user experiences
