In this position, you will directly support the Gas Services Central Global Customer Operations business by qualifying and developing electrical system suppliers on a global scale. Imagine leading cross-functional teams, engaging with suppliers, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards while contributing to a sustainable future.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. You will support a cross-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities and auditing their quality management systems and processes
2. Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) on commodity parts, ensuring compliance with applicable process descriptions and standards
3. You will plan, track, and report on project milestones, budget, and resource needs while supporting supplier quality assurance measures
4. Assist commodity strategic buyers in developing procurement strategies and project planning, enhancing our supply chain effectiveness
5. Represent Supplier Quality in cross-functional design reviews, ensuring that quality considerations are integrated into product development
6. Manage various Supplier Quality Management tools and databases, ensuring data quality and transparency for informed decision-making
What You Bring
7. A bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or a similar discipline, with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered
8. With at least several years of professional experience in supplier quality management, quality management, or engineering related to MV and LV electrical systems and components, you bring a wealth of knowledge to the role
9. You have a proven track record in supplier evaluation, qualification, product/process qualification, and technical supplier development, ensuring a quality-assured and cost-effective supply base
10. Extensive knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, and IEC standards is essential for success in this role
11. You possess extensive auditing experience, with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
12. A willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time is required, and you must have or be able to obtain a passport
