Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Accounting team as an Interface Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the interface between our accounting department and the IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interface Management: Define and maintain interfaces between accounting systems and other SAP/Non-SAP systems.
* Contact Person: Serve as the primary point of contact for interfaces with other departments and external organizations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders in Germany, Sweden, and the US to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* SAP Key User Function: Provide expert support for FI/CO processes and systems.
* Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements for SAP S/4HANA Finance.
* Documentation and Process Development: Maintain accurate records of processes and develop documentation to support knowledge sharing.
* Special Projects: Supervise subject-specific special topics and projects to drive business value.
* Control Actions: Implement and process control actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Reporting Tools Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of Chart of Accounts and reporting tools for Volkswagen AG.
* Financial Statements Preparation: Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Requirements:
* Degree or Equivalent: Degree in Economics or commercial training with further training as Accountant.
* Professional Experience: Several years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
* Accounting Knowledge: Proficient in accounting principles according to IFRS and HGB.
* SAP S/4HANA FI/CO: Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO functionality.
* Affinity for Technology: Affinity for IT and technological advancements.
* Entrepreneurial Thinking: Entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Independent Work Style: Independent work style with excellent communication skills and reliability.
* Language Skills: Fluency in German and English both written and verbal.
