Employee/Deputy Manager – Infrastructure (m/f/d)
documenta und Museum Fridericianum gGmbH is a non-profit organization supported and financed by the City of Kassel and the State of Hesse as shareholders, and also receives financial support from the German Federal Cultural Foundation. The non-profit GmbH is responsible for the documenta exhibition, which takes place every five years, the Fridericianum, the documenta archive, which is being developed into the documenta Institute, and the documenta Hall.
We are looking for a well-organized and responsible individual who would like to become part of the documenta team as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
* Organization and implementation of mobility and shuttle concepts, including accessibility
* Coordination of accommodation for artists and teams, including handovers and key management
* Management of vehicle fleet, rental and sponsor vehicles, and parking spaces
* Organization of storage, goods receipt/issue, and transport scheduling
* Distribution of printed materials and implementation of signage and guidance systems
* Organization of temporary infrastructure and containers, including connections, as well as assembly and dismantling
* Rental and operation of the documenta hall, including site visits and technical coordination
* Organization of office furnishings, inventory, cleaning, and waste disposal in public areas
* Combination of administrative and operational activities
Your profile:
* Experience in logistics, infrastructure, event or operational organization
* Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
* Willingness to actively participate in operational work
* Driver's license for vehicles up to 7.5 tons is advantageous
* Resilience and flexibility during project-intensive phases
We offer you an interesting and responsible position in an internationally active team in the arts and culture sector.
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, limited until February 28, 2028.
The place of work is Kassel.
