Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, a leading multi-business bank in the Grand Duchy, is seeking an Accountant for its BIL Lease entity.
The successful candidate will assist in financial analyses and support financial accounting services for the head office and group companies. Key responsibilities include:
* Verifying, allocating, and posting transaction details in journals while applying basic accounting principles to prepare financial reports.
* Compiling and analyzing financial information for account entries, including general ledgers and documenting business transactions.
* Supporting the analysis of financial information related to assets, liabilities, and capital.
* Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize the company's financial position.
* Auditing contracts, orders, and vouchers, preparing basic reports to support transactions prior to settlement.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accounting, Tax, or Finance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. Fluency in French and English, as well as MS Office tools skills, are also required. Strong interpersonal skills, quantitative and analytical competency, and ability to interact with different departments and levels of seniority are highly valued.
