Environment, Health & Safety management is part of the daily operations and contributes to the continuity of Terumo Europe N.We’re looking for a certified EHS Coordinator (Sicherheitsfachkraft) to join our team and lead our efforts in workplace safety and compliance. As a EHS Coordinator you will support the employer, management, and employees in planning, developing, and implementing the EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policy and carry out legally required EHS tasks in accordance with national regulations and company standards.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance
Act as safety specialist in line with AsiG requirements.
Support client EHS audits and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans.
Risk Management & Analysis
Analyze health-related data (chemical exposure, noise, ergonomics).
Manage and optimize the EHS management system (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
Develop EHS-related SOPs based on the company’s management system.
Facilitate internal and external audits and support certification processes.
Lead safety and environmental projects in compliance with regulations.
Supervise commissioning of new equipment for safety compliance.
Oversee waste management and hazardous substances database.
Promote safe behavior through training, onboarding, and site walkthroughs.
Collaboration & Support
Serve as contact person for occupational health and safety for employees, management, and authorities.
Ensure site security aligns with campus standards.
Completed training as a certified Safety Specialist (Sicherheitsfachkraft) or a degree in engineering with specialization in safety (e.g. mechanical, electrical, or safety engineering).
Fluent in [German/English] – both written and spoken.
