Responsibilities Devise, own, and implement category & sourcing strategies, collaborating with brand, product, and inventory teams to align priorities Conduct global supplier sourcing, manage supplier selection processes, and lead negotiations on purchasing conditions & prices Analyse market environments and product cost developments to ensure data-driven procurement activities and negotiations Prepare and execute sourcing and tendering processes, developing awarding scenarios and communicating supplier-related decisions Ensure supply security by monitoring supplier capacities, quality standards, and timelines, negotiating commercial penalties where relevant Coordinate supplier evaluations and development initiatives to enhance capabilities and performance of the existing supplier portfolio Prepare management reporting on supplier performance, market analysis, and cost developments Lead strategic procurement projects within the assigned category, ensuring alignment with business goals Manage stakeholder relationships across functions, creating executive reporting and navigating organisational dynamics Coach and mentor junior procurement staff, fostering growth and capability development Act as deputy for the Head of Procurement or Team Leader when required, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making Qualifications At least 5 years of proven professional experience in sourcing, buying, and procurement (ideally in the e-commerce / omni-channel retail/consumer goods sector) in food / non food categories. International businesses, across multiple countries highly relevant. Exposure working in international teams versus national organizations Experience in strategic purchasing activities (tendering, negotiation, strategy development) Supply market knowledge (e.g., market structure insights, screening capabilities) and supplier development capabilities Ideally, experience of working with an Asia sourcing office Strong communication and negotiation skills combined with interdisciplinary thinking Strong analytical mindset and experienced in dealing with key business figures Project management experience and capability to successfully work in cross-functional teams Additional Information We offer a multinational, collaborative environment with hybrid working: typically 60% in the office and 40% at home. There is also an option to work for 20 days abroad in approved countries.
