Your role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Change & Communications Manager (all genders) to lead internal and external communications as well as organizational change initiatives for our newly independent, mid-sized materials industry company with ~1,100 employees across 18 countries. This pivotal role will drive communication strategies that engage employees, strengthen the brand, and ensure successful change adoption across the business.
You will develop and implement a global communications strategy that aligns with business goals, create engaging content for internal and external channels, and serve as the main contact for media inquiries and public relations. Collaborating with leadership and HR, you will design change management strategies for smooth adoption of new processes and systems, while also coaching leaders on effective communication techniques.
Additionally, you will foster employee engagement through initiatives that align with company values, facilitate leadership town halls and feedback sessions, and analyze employee sentiment to refine strategies. Managing relationships with external agencies and ensuring collaboration across regions will be key, along with developing communication toolkits for local leaders (all genders). You will also oversee the crisis communication framework, providing strategic counsel during sensitive situations and proactively managing communication risks to protect corporate reputation.
Fluency in German and English is required; proficiency in Chinese is a strong plus. The ideal candidate (all genders) combines expertise in corporate communications with hands-on experience in change management, acting as a strategic partner to leadership while ensuring flawless execution.
Who you are:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Change Management, or related field
* 7+ years of professional experience in corporate communications and/or change management, ideally in an international or industrial company environment
* Proven track record in managing complex change and communication projects across multiple countries
* Native-level fluency in German and professional fluency in English; Chinese is a strong plus
* Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills for both executive and broad employee audiences
* Experience with digital communication tools, intranet platforms, and social media management
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to influence and work effectively with senior leaders across functions and geographies
