As Associate Director External QC Network (m/w/d) at BioNTech, you oversee the complete QC-panel from release testing to stability studies of our external products.
Your responsibilities are:
• Representation of external/global QC as QC-lead in multidisciplinary project teams
• Definition of the QC project strategy in multiple protein projects (ADC, mAb, bispesifics)
• Overseeing QC-activities at multiple CDMOs and CROs to ensure delivery of QC-associated work packages
• Act as technical expert (m/we/d) for QC-CDMO oversight withing external QC
• Participate in generation and approval of QC-related GMP-documentation
• Management of full QC-value chain
What you have to offer:
• University degree in a scientific/life-science-related field (PhD)
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in QC (ideally analytical development) within the pharmaceutical industry
• Profound experience in CMC development, including commercialization
• Experience in managing CDMOs globally
• Analytical background with proteins and antibodies
• Previous experience in a function leadership role
• Strong communication as well as (self-)organizing skills
• Fluent English (both oral and written)
