Who will you be joining?
Allianz’s Group Compliance (GC) function is in charge of managing compliance risk to bolster Allianz's reputational and financial strength and to support value-focused company leadership. As such, GC is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the Group's overall compliance risk profile, and thus ensuring that individual Allianz companies adhere to the Group's compliance governance principles. The Compliance function within Allianz strives for Group-wide effective and efficient compliance processes supported by global tools and solutions. Besides steering and monitoring the Group, GC also acts as the Compliance function for Allianz SE.
How can you make an impact?
You will:
* Ensure that the tasks of the Compliance Function are performed and maintain an adequate and effective Compliance Management System (CMS) at Allianz SE
* Assist in the correct implementation and documentation of Group-internal and external requirements for compliance risk areas such as Internal Fraud, Anti-Corruption, Gifts and Entertainment and Economic Sanctions within Allianz SE
* Ensure and monitor that the relevant departments and units have established appropriate and effective processes and controls under their responsibility
* Conduct regular risk assessments, monitor, review and test implemented controls based on the Non-Financial Risk Management (“NFRM”) methodology
* Support and oversee the performance of compliance tasks in the non-regulated entities directly owned by Allianz SE
* Drive continuous collaboration and alignment within Group Compliance and with the other control functions on important initiatives as part of the Internal Control System
* Promote a strong integrity and compliance culture, organize and support communication and training on compliance topics
What are you made of?
* University level degree, preferably in Law or Economics
* Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) may be preferred
* At least five years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, corporate governance, legal, regulatory reporting or a similar role within the financial service industry
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Very strong team spirit, high self-motivation and a proactive and collaborative working style, as well as ability to interact in a global working environment with people from different countries and cultures, excellent communication skills
* Project management, organizational and planning skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently to drive compliance initiatives forward
* Several years of Operating Entity and Allianz SE Group experience would be a plus
* Excellent English skills (both written and spoken), German knowledge would be an advantage
* Strong knowledge of MS Office
* Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
* Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions
