Tasks
* Implementation of complex energy contracts (natural gas, electricity, PPAs, etc.) in MET Germany’s billing system (cpX Energy)
* Input and quality assurance of billing master data (volumes, prices, master data)
* Generation of all electricity and natural gas invoices from the billing system
* Responsibility for forwarding billing data to downstream processes such as accounting, payments, and payment verification
* Supporting Key Account Managers in customer service
* Professional involvement in projects aimed at optimizing and further developing billing processes and systems
* Participation in product development with regard to the processing of new products in billing and reporting
Profile
* University degree in economics, energy management, or equivalent experience/education
* 3–6 years of professional experience in energy billing or a comparable position
* Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
* Experience with the cpX Energy billing system is an advantage but not mandatory
* Basic knowledge of accounting and energy tax law is an advantage
* Very good German skills and at least good English skills
