As a Client Director (CD) / Market Maker (MM) at HCL Software, you will lead a portfolio of high-potential, strategic accounts across our dynamic software portfolio. Your mission: elevate client satisfaction, expand business impact, and position HCL Software as a key partner in digital transformation.

This role demands a commercially astute, client-obsessed professional with strong enterprise sales experience, the ability to influence at the C-suite level, and a passion for delivering results.

Key Objectives

* Drive Growth: Expand HCL Software’s footprint and wallet share within strategic enterprise accounts.
* Champion Client Success: Understand evolving client needs and align our solutions to enable transformation and innovation.
* Foster Trusted Partnerships: Build long-term, executive-level relationships that position HCL Software as the partner of choice.
* Strategic Stewardship: Lead with insight and foresight, shaping multi-year plans that reflect both client ambitions and HCL’s strategic goals.

Core Responsibilities

* Account Leadership: Define and execute multi-year account strategies aligned with client objectives and market opportunities.
* Executive Engagement: Build and maintain deep relationships with C-level stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and thought partner.
* Solution Selling: Leverage HCL Software’s portfolio to solve real business challenges, driving high-impact, enterprise-scale opportunities.
* Team Orchestration: Lead virtual cross-functional teams across delivery, product, marketing, and sales to deliver a unified “One HCL” experience.
* Pipeline & Revenue Generation: Own the full sales lifecycle—from opportunity identification to closure—ensuring consistent pipeline health and revenue growth.
* Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor moves, and customer priorities to guide strategy and identify white-space opportunities.

Skills & Experience

* Enterprise Sales Expertise: Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets through complex, high-value ($1M+) deals with Fortune 1000 clients.
* Strategic Account Management: Deep experience managing multi-stakeholder enterprise accounts and leading long-term strategic engagements.
* Executive Presence: Ability to engage, influence, and negotiate at the C-level and across diverse functional areas.
* Consultative Selling: Adept at framing business issues, diagnosing challenges, and aligning HCL solutions to customer needs.
* Collaboration & Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across stakeholders and functions.
* Leadership & Influence: Inspires confidence and motivates teams across levels and functions.
* Business Acumen: Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, customer business models, and strategic priorities.
* Communication Excellence: Able to convey complex ideas with clarity, adapting messaging to different stakeholders.
* Problem Solving: Anticipates challenges and drives creative, data-informed solutions.
* Negotiation & Relationship Management: Builds trusted relationships and closes deals that create mutual value.
