About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven Sub-Regional Lead, Supply Chain & Procurement DACH to manage strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and compliance across the DACH region. You’ll support the team and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver value and ensure alignment with Digital Realty’s global and regional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement resilient supply chain strategies for goods and services in partnership with your team and key stakeholders.
2. Lead and inspire the DACH Supply Chain & Procurement team, cultivating a culture of dedication and performance.
3. Prioritize and drive departmental objectives, ensuring delivery of measurable results.
4. Own strategic sourcing processes, negotiations, and supplier due diligence with a focus on best practices.
5. Manage supplier performance aligned with global KPIs, SLAs, and compliance frameworks.
6. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing industry trends, market conditions, and internal goals.
7. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster alignment and positive outcomes.
8. Lead change management initiatives in accordance with EMEA governance.
9. Oversee inventory management and risk assessment where applicable.
What You Bring:
10. Deep knowledge of procurement for technical products, services, and components, ideally in data center or building services.
11. Proficiency with MS Office and financial analysis tools.
12. Strong contract interpretation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
13. Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and maintain strict confidentiality.
14. Skilled in navigating conflicts and fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
15. Goal-oriented with a passion for challenges and autonomy.
16. Industry certifications and memberships in Supply Chain or Data Centre sectors are highly desirable.
17. Exceptional analytical and communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken).
