Senior IP Engineer, Protocol Development & Standardization
Your mission
* Keep track of latest protocol progress in IPv6, SRv6, EVPN, YANG etc in IETF.
* Discuss with operators on protocol/network innovation to identify practical problems and solutions.
* Standardize the solutions / ideas in IETF, ETSI or EU research projects.
* Assist Huawei R&D to prioritize protocol development.
Your areas of expertise
* ICT related Master or PhD.
* Good work experience in the network industry; Worked with Cisco, Juniper, Nokia or an operator; IP Protocol development experience a big plus.
* Good understanding of IP networking technologies, e.g. SRv6, IPv6, routing protocols, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, YANG, Telemetry etc.
* Some experience with SDOs, industry forums, or EU research like H.2020.
* Proactive & devoted.
