Unified Communications Specialist or IT Administrator Telecommunications (m/f/d)
Your environment
HRZ enables tomorrow's discoveries with today's IT - join us in the Telecommunications team. In the future, you will operate UC and telephony solutions with four network nodes and 28 remote shelves at various locations. You will support our 8,500 participants and promote the further development of services in administration, research and teaching.
Your tasks at a glance
* Technical conception, testing, implementation, go-live and further development of telephony, VoIP and UC solutions and associated services
* Administration of the communication system, its end devices and telephony-related services and systems (automated attendant, call centers, fax server, etc.)
* Expansion, maintenance, troubleshooting and ensuring the operation of the above-mentioned systems and services as well as technical documentation
* Administration of servers and databases
* 2nd level user support/consulting for telephony and UC solutions and corresponding services as well as technical representation within the group
Your qualifications and skills
* Completed relevant vocational training in the IT sector
* Many years of practical IT experience, ideally in the areas of telephony, unified communication and telephony-related services
* Excellent knowledge of classic telephony, UC functions and applications, ideally knowledge of Alcatel Lucent Enterprise systems
* Expert knowledge of VoIP / SIP protocols
* Proficient knowledge of SQL and MS Access-based databases, server administration and networks as well as MS Office applications and Visio
* Class B driving license
* Willingness to participate in the department's on-call duty
* High service orientation and a quick grasp, complemented by analytical and communication skills as well as a solution- and result-oriented way of working
* Team spirit and above-average commitment
