Position: History Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $20–$40/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities Author realistic history prompts spanning historical analysis, historiographical comparison, primary source interpretation, timelines, and cause-and-effect reasoning. Review and revise AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, nuance, contextual depth, and cultural authenticity. Write high-quality human-authored “gold” responses for complex or interpretive historical questions. Create controlled prompt variations that test subtle differences in time period, geographic region, political context, or historiographical framing. Evaluate outputs across different tones (academic, explanatory, narrative) and instruction constraints. Identify model failure cases involving anachronisms, oversimplification, biased framing, or culturally inconsistent interpretations. Qualifications Must-Have 2 years of sustained, serious engagement with history as a hobby or scholarly pursuit. Active participation in historical discourse within at least one of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi. Strong familiarity with regional history, historiographical traditions, and culturally specific perspectives within your language context. Ability to articulate historical arguments and contextual analysis clearly in the target language. Strong written communication skills and thoughtful editorial judgment.
