Ascendis Pharma is looking for a highly driven Associate Scientist (M.or Scientist (Ph.to join our Protein Chemistry team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, synthesis, and characterization of therapeutic protein conjugates, supporting pre-clinical in vitro and in vivo studies.

Prepare detailed scientific documentation, including technical reports and patent example drafts
Perform in-depth literature reviews to support ongoing research and development
Exceptional Master's degree (Associate Scientist) or doctoral degree (Scientist) in biochemistry or a closely related field
Strong theoretical foundation and hands-on expertise in protein chemistry and analytical techniques, including SEC, IEC, SDS-PAGE, RP-HPLC, bioconjugation, and TFF
Collaborative mindset with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; working proficiency in German is desirable
