Full ‑ Stack Developer (m/f/d)
The team builds and evolves cloud‑based digital products that support machines, customers, and internal users. Working in an AWS environment, the team focuses on early‑stage prototyping, architectural exploration, and full‑stack development, including cloud‑connected, edge‑based, and AI‑enabled solutions

The salary for this position (full-time) is based on the ERA group 9 of the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry Rheinland-Pfalz and consists, in addition to the gross monthly salary of 4,932.00 €, of various special payments (holiday pay, T-Zug, Christmas pay, etc.). You can expect an annual salary of approx. 68,000 EUR in this position.
Your Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development of modern web and cloud-based applications, supporting both frontend and backend components
* Implement and extend software features based on existing architectures, concepts, and technical guidance
* Support the creation of prototypes and proof-of-concepts to explore new ideas and technologies in early development phases
* Work hands-on across the stack — from frontend user interfaces to backend services and APIs, including cloud connected components
* Assist in developing modular and maintainable software components with a focus on code quality and reusability
* Collaborate closely with experienced engineers and cross functional partners (e.g., UX, Product Management, customers.) to translate requirements into working software
* Learn and apply modern development tools, frameworks, and best practices in a professional environment
* Support testing, debugging, and basic verification activities to ensure functionality, stability, and performance of implemented solutions
* Actively participate in team discussions, reviews, and agile ceremonies, contributing ideas and continuously improving your technical skills
What Skills You Need:
* 2+project references that demonstrate your solid knowledge in JavaScript or TypeScript, and your strong interest in writing clean, maintainable code
* First practical experience with React or another modern frontend framework, gained through projects, internships, or coursework
* A basic understanding of backend development concepts, e.g. using Node.js, Python, or Java, and curiosity to deepen those skills
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON, and how frontend and backend components interact
* Initial experience using Git and working in a collaborative development environment
* Motivation to learn cloud technologies
* A curious, reliable, hands-on mindset, with enthusiasm for learning and growing as a developer
* Good communication skills and confidence working in an English-speaking environment (minimum level B2)
This tariff position is based in Kaiserslautern and vacant as soon as possible.
