We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and talented BIM / 3D Coordinator for a high-profile Pharmaceutical construction project, coordinating complex designs, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring the accuracy of project data. It’s a flexible hybrid opportunity with partial site-visits in the greater Frankfurt region.

Responsibilities
Your Role
1. BIM model management and compliance with quality requirements
2. Develop and maintain specification for BIM standards
3. Interface with the Client to interpret scope and requirements.
4. Prepare and maintain the DeLPD (Digitally Enabled Lean Project Delivery) Execution Plan.
5. Overall responsibility for managing the 3D modelling design from early phase to end of detailed design.
6. Lead the space management and co-ordination for projects, including equipment stack-up studies, pipe rack & services design, room layout etc.
7. Carry out design risk assessment.
8. Develop and manage the discipline estimates and resource loading for DeLPD administration support.
9. Manage and interface with 3D design leads including 3rd Party Designers
10. Chair weekly internal model design co-ordination meeting to review model progress and/or issues effecting modelling ef
11. Manage the co-ordination of all design disciplines in the model and their space allocations (both internal and external) and resolve identified design coordination issues.
12. Management of early discipline release in an area before other disciplines progressed significantly or complete.
13. Expedite weekly vendor information that modellers need to complete.
14. Monitor information flow.
15. Coordinate design reviews - both formal (with client) and informal (internal).
16. Manage close-out of action items during design reviews and clash reports and expedite clash resolution.
17. Maintain, federate, co-ordinate information sources, management of clashes
18. Assure quality of the model
19. Use of ACC management to perform these tasks
20. Collaborate and co-ordinate with all project team members
21. Take part in continuous improvement activities
22. Coordinate commencement and completion of checking activities.
23. Manage Overall Model Progress Reporting & MTOs.
24. Manage the deliverable issue schedule versus the construction schedule
25. Manage changes to scope & requirements and identify changes to disciplines and the Project Manager.
Qualifications
Your Profile
26. Degree educated in an Engineering or Architectural discipline or technical apprenticeship in CSA, Engineering and/or Construction Management
27. Ideally 10+ years of design experience
28. Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks and ideally ACC
29. Programming knowledge and experience in BIM360 Modules of advantage
30. Construction execution experience in Pharma, Food & Beverage or Data Centre Projects
31. An understanding of all Disciplines and their 3D applications is of advantage
32. Comprehension of technical principles, theories and the concepts of spatial design of complex process facilities including but not limited to process piping design
33. Excellent organizational and communication skills
34. Proficient in German and English
35. Flexibility to occasionally work on site
