Maximize direct and indirect sales as well as market share for the assigned strategic customers in the Gas Processing segmentBuild, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makersAcquire strategic and sustainable business opportunities with assigned customersDevelop and implement global customer strategies and account plans for the assigned accountsEnsure the achievement of quantitative and qualitative targetsSupport the development of solution concepts and customer-specific offerings regarding products and applicationsLead international contract and price negotiationsEnsure regular collaboration with the buying centers of assigned customers, Festo subsidiaries, and various headquarters functionsProvide functional leadership to the customer team and ensure joint successEnsure overall profitability of the assigned customersYour qualification:
Successfully completed degree in engineering, electrical engineering, automation, process engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualificationSeveral years of professional experience in the chemical industry, ideally related to gas processingStrong industry, product, and application knowledge in automation for process industries, particularly in gas processing (e.g., equipment for the production, purification, and distribution of hydrogen, nitrogen, or carbon dioxide)Several years of international sales experience with responsibility for customer acquisition, customer development, and contract negotiations is desirableExperience in project acquisition and revenue responsibility is an advantageFunctional leadership experience is a plusBusiness-fluent English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantageStrong consulting orientation, persuasive communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in intercultural collaborationHigh willingness to travelPart of the selection process is an assessment centre.
