Job Overview
The role of Head of Financial Institutions Luxembourg is a key leadership position within the Wholesale Banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Financial Institutions Coverage Team in Luxembourg, driving growth and expansion in the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Financial Institutions Coverage Team in Luxembourg, driving commercial excellence and execution.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to deliver best-in-class local and international Cash Management, Trade, and Depository Solutions (Custody).
* Manage the sales pipeline process, providing effective sales management through strategy planning, identification of opportunities, process qualification, client engagement, building solutions and presentations to clients, negotiation, and closure of deals.
* Instil a strong commercial approach to the business, including managing some key client responsibilities.
* Generate impact, engender trust and loyalty in cross-functional initiatives as well as with subordinates and clients.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be an experienced executive with a strong track record of commercial success in financial institutions coverage. They will have excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills, as well as superior problem-solving skills and strong analytical capabilities.
* Experience working in an organization where sales are not only booked in-country but also throughout the network.
* Strong knowledge of corporate cash, trade, fund finance, depositary and custody business, and derivatives.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize detailed concepts and translate them into effective presentations both to clients and senior executives.
* Resourceful and adaptable to work in frequently changing environments with excellent risk management skills.
