Country Manager - Berlin (People & Talent Ecosystem)
Location: Berlin (hub for events, dinners, and Europe’s tech ecosystem)
We’re looking for a relationship-driven operator to own Tribe’s presence in Berlin — building a visible network across the People & Talent ecosystem through events, partnerships, and community relationships.
What You’ll Do
Network & Ecosystem Development
* Build and nurture a trusted network among VPs of Talent, People, and Founders in Berlin and Europe.
* Attend, co-host, and sponsor high-quality industry events, dinners, and roundtables.
* Collaborate closely with Tribe’s marketing team to design local partnership and event strategies.
* Represent Tribe’s brand with authority and authenticity.
Relationship-Based New Business
* Identify and develop warm opportunities through your network and introductions.
* Target funded startups (€50M–€500M raised) and enterprise tech/consumer brands.
* Lead the full consultative process: from the first meeting to contract signature.
* Maintain transparent forecasting and pipeline management in HubSpot.
Strategic Account Collaboration
* Partner with Tribe’s Delivery Directors to define client needs and scope proposals.
* Ensure seamless client handover and onboarding post-close.
* Spot opportunities for cross-sell and expansion in active clients.
Brand & Thought Leadership
* Act as a visible Tribe ambassador in the Berlin ecosystem.
* Collaborate on content, panels, and community partnerships with HR tech firms, VCs, and founders.
* Co-create case studies and success stories that showcase client impact.
Build the System
* Design and implement the structure behind the ecosystem: from event frameworks to partner databases and BD tracking.
* Manage vendor relationships, local sponsorships, and collaboration pipelines.
* Create scalable processes that turn relationships and events into measurable business outcomes.
Ideal Profile
Must-Haves
* Deep, existing network within the European People/Talent/HR ecosystem (esp. Berlin).
* 7+ years in recruiting - ideally with hands-on experience in executive search or embedded talent roles.
* 2+ years in consultative B2B sales, partnerships, or client leadership within:
* Recruiting / Agency/ RPO / HR Tech, or
* Professional services (consulting, talent advisory).
* A genuine connector who thrives on building relationships and making introductions.
* High EQ, credibility, and ability to engage senior stakeholders (CHROs, Founders, VPs).
* Strong ownership mindset; thrives in autonomy and ambiguity.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience selling €100K+ service contracts.
* Understanding of embedded recruiting or talent delivery models.
* Familiarity with VC networks and startup funding dynamics.
* Hubspot experience is a plus.
