Work environment
Join us in ensuring series support for conventional drivetrain technology at Volkswagen and become part of our development team for dual-clutch transmissions for Audi at our Gaimersheim/Ingolstadt location. Together, we work on the development of dual-clutch transmissions and need your support in testing. As an enrolled student, you can help ensure efficient and sustainable series support for our proven products while gaining practical experience alongside your academic studies. The internship is designed for a duration of about 6 months.
Possible tasks within this Role
* Expanding an evaluation of load and temperature profiles for dual-clutch transmissions using MATLAB
* Systematically analyzing profiles of various vehicle-engine-transmission configurations
* Deriving limit profiles for mechanical and thermal loads
* Coordinating results with responsible team members
* Documenting work results
Qualification requirements
* Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (with at least 89 credit points) in engineering or a comparable field of study
* Good to excellent academic performance
* Strong interest in drivetrain technology and basic knowledge of transmission systems
* Experience with MATLAB and programming
* High level of initiative and excellent communication skills
* Solution-oriented and creative working style, as well as enjoyment of teamwork
