Responsibilities:
1. You ensure that all actuarial reports for our more than 40 German entities are prepared accurately and on time – including reports for pension commitments, phased retirement, anniversary benefits, and death benefits. You review these reports both in terms of content and calculations.
2. You calculate pension equalization entitlements in the context of divorce proceedings and prepare legally sound statements for family courts. You also coordinate the distribution of entitlements to external pension providers.
3. You coordinate the legally required insolvency protection through the Pensions-Sicherungs-Verein (PSVaG) – both for our internal companies and for external clients.
4. You support corporate restructuring processes and ensure the smooth transfer of obligations and assets – including the transition of employees to the respective business units.
5. You develop and manage deferred compensation models for senior executives – including all relevant documentation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
6. You hold a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance or a comparable qualification – ideally complemented by a recognized additional qualification in occupational pensions and insurance.
7. You have solid, hands-on professional experience in occupational pension schemes and are confident in interpreting legal frameworks such as the German Company Pension Act (BetrAVG).
8. You possess in-depth knowledge of labor law, tax law, and social security law.
9. You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and have experience with SAP/HR.
10. You are results-oriented, have a strong affinity for numbers, and impress with your discretion and clear, persuasive communication style.
11. You are fluent in German, both written and spoken (at least C1 level).
