INTERNSHIP/ THESIS: CFD SIMULATIONS AND WORKFLOW DEVELOPMENT WITH OPENFOAM FOR AUTOMOTIVE LIGHTING

YOUR TASKS
* Benchmarking: Support the analysis
and evaluation of existing OpenFOAM workflows for automotive applications.
* Workflow Design: Contribute to the
development and implementation of automated workflows and macros in
OpenFOAM.
* Validation: Assist in validating
simulation results and performing performance analyses.
* Documentation: Help create process
documentation and ensure usability for engineering teams.
* Integration: Your work will directly
contribute to optimizing CFD processes and simulation strategies.
* Project Option: A combination of
internship and subsequent Master thesis would be ideal.
START: after arrangement
DURATION: at least 12 weeks
* Enrollment: You are enrolled at a
university during your time at FORVIA HELLA and have not yet completed
your finalmandatory examination.
* Field of Study: You are studying
Computational Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a
comparable field.
* Interest: Ideally, you are
enthusiastic about CFD, modeling, and programming.
* Software Skills: Initial experience with
OpenFOAM or other CFD tools (e.g., Simcenter STAR-CCM+) is an advantage
but not mandatory.
* Personal Skills: Willingness to learn,
ability to work independently, and team spirit complete your profile.
