Position Overview We are looking for a full-time Group HR Manager based in Berlin, Germany, As Group HR Manager, you will play a dual role: You will act as the local HR Manager for Trapeze DACH ITS, leading its HR team, while also providing strategic HR leadership and support across one Modaxo Group. This group includes Trapeze ITS DACH and at least one additional business that already has local HR in place. You will be reporting to the Group Manager and be a key member of the Group Leadership Team, contributing to both operational excellence and strategic HR initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Local HR Manager (Trapeze ITS DACH) Lead the HR team in Trapeze ITS DACH, ensuring effective delivery of HR operations and alignment with business goals. Provide day-to-day HR support to line managers on employee relations, performance management, absence, redundancy, and flexible working. Ensure compliance with German labor legislation and internal policies, maintaining clear audit trails and documentation. Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes. Administer payroll instructions and oversee benefit policies. Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure data integrity across HR systems. HR Business Partner to 1 division of Trapeze DACH ITS Support training and development initiatives, including identifying training needs and liaising with external providers. Representation of HR in the Trapeze DACH ITS management team Deliver quarterly HR reports on recruitment, retention, and workforce trends. Drive employee engagement initiatives and support continuous improvement in HR practices. Deliver BU HR strategies and ensure operational delivery of standard HR processes as Talent Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning and etc. Group HR Duties (Modaxo Group) Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with the Group’s business objectives, contributing to long-term organizational planning. Build strategic relationships with Business Leaders and HR teams to support delivery of HR roadmaps and governance. Lead talent management efforts including succession planning, workforce planning, and organizational development. Identify and support training needs across business units, including executive coaching and leadership development. Oversee performance management frameworks and provide guidance on disciplinary actions and career development. Support M&A activities including HR due diligence, onboarding, and integration planning. Take responsibility for HR Integration of new acquisitions Ensure for HR aspects legal compliance across European jurisdictions (e.g., Germany, Denmark), partnering with local HR and legal teams as needed. Conduct compensation and benefits analysis, benchmarking across business units and ensuring alignment with market standards. Define standard HR performance reporting across the Group and Interpret HR analytics and dashboards to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Coach and support local HR teams in all HR aspects as talent management, performance management, etc. Act as sounding board to Group leader and BU leaders for all HR related aspects ( e.g. Senior Resource recruitment) Facilitate engagement surveys and support business units in developing sustainable action plans. Act as a coach and advisor to senior leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance Qualifications & Experience A high impact, dynamic HR professional that thinks strategically with a record of consistently delivering results and an ability to deliver operational outcomes with various stakeholders Minimum 7 years of HR experience in international environments. Strong understanding of German and/or SWISS labor law; knowledge of other European jurisdictions is a plus. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday). Ability to hire, manage, coach and mentor HR professionals in the team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English and German. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach. Energetic, highly proactive and results oriented Approachable, professional, and resilient. Ability to work flexible hours under pressure to tight timescales Passionate about employee development and engagement. Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Software industry preferable.
