We offer a three-year study program in social work with a focus on youth, family, and social welfare. The program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively in this field.
During the six semesters of study, you will gain hands-on experience in practice phases at the Landratsamt Lörrach, where you will learn about personal counseling in care and education matters, child custody issues during divorce and separation, and crisis management.
You will also participate in family and youth court proceedings, adoption mediation, and child welfare support, while working closely with other authorities and specialist services.
The theoretical phases will take place at the Dualen Hochschule BW in Stuttgart or the Hochschule Villingen-Schwenningen, where you will study modules such as psychology, law, and pedagogy, complete written assignments and exams, and write a bachelor's thesis in your sixth semester.
We expect our applicants to have a general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or a subject-specific university entrance qualification corresponding to their chosen course of study, as well as good communication skills and a willingness to work with people.
Our benefits include flexible working hours, home office options, and a competitive salary, as well as opportunities for further training and professional development.
Additionally, we offer a range of initiatives to support our employees' health and well-being, including an employee assistance program and access to fitness facilities.
Join us in shaping the future of social work and making a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
